We’re sporting a new (for us) but possibly also familiar layout. That’s because Lyndsy Fonseca Network has now officially merged with Lyndsy Fonseca Daily, and Lyndsy Fonseca Web! Jasmine and Abby decided to step down from their sites and instead of seeing the sites sit there I offered to merge both sites with this one, and both ladies agreed. So over the next little while new content will begin to filter into the gallery and site and that is content that has been graciously donated by both sites.
We wanted to honor the work that all of the various owners over the years had put into those two wonderful Lyndsy fan resources, and I certainly hope that we can do that. So major thanks to Jasmine and Abby, as well as Alexa, Melissa, Mikaela and Hillie (all of whom were the founders or staff on LFD or LFW) for all of the hard work they did.
This theme is just temporary, Angel and I are working with Lyndsy on a new idea for a layout. But in the meantime please enjoy this wonderful theme that Lyndsy Fonseca Web sported for a while.
With the merges complete that also means we have TWO NEW URL’S! Both L-Fonseca.com and Lyndsy-Fonseca.org are now part of the site, which means you can use ANY of the three to visit us here!
Today is Tori’s 20th birthday! Tori is the other webmaster here at FonsecaNet, she is also the voice behind the twitter account @_FonsecaNet Please send Tori your birthday wishes by commenting on this post or sending her a twitter message! One of Tori’s wishes is to have more Lyndsy fans following the @_FonsecaNet account. So let’s try & make her birthday wish come true!
On January 18th, 2012, Lyndsy-Fonseca.net will go dark at 12am MT in protest of the Stop Online Privacy Act (SOPA) and PIPA (Protect IP Act). During that time, visitors will be directed to a black page informing you that the site has gone dark and is not available. The site will re-open at 12am MT (January 19th, 2012).
Many of our affiliate sites will be going dark as well in protest including some of our sister sites, Desperatefans.org, and Dana-Delany.org
To learn more about SOPA please visit Wikipedia here and PIPA at Wikipedia here. Wikipedia along with other websites around the web will also be going dark in protest of these bills.
